Living a normal life, three friends have that life taken from them when the Red Horde invades their empire and its cities. Burning people as offerings to their Gods, the three run, trying to seek shelter in the north only to discover they were not born to run. Meeting a stranger on the road north seeking shelter is only the first step in learning their true identities and how to save their world.
