There are stories about gods, monsters, angels, robots, hellish hotels, body-builders and body-snatchers, and ordinary people just doing whatever they can to get by.

The collection includes stories published in print and online, in Writers' Forum and on The Guardian website, and stories that have won prizes or been shortlisted in a variety of competitions, including the H.E.
