Joe gets publicly dumped by his girl, who then goes off with Billy.

Joe does a bit of investigating. He finds that Billy officially doesn't exist and that Billy makes his living mainly by stealing jewelry from the girls that handsome Billy dates.

Joe then repossesses the stolen car that Billy drove. Joe's buddies then steal all of Billy's possessions, replacing some of them with stolen items.

The girls that Billy stole jewelry from want their jewelry back.

With four different police complaints and a sell out by his fence, the police then arrest Billy. Joe's buddies then beat and rob Billy, when Billy goes to get bail. Billy goes to jail.
