This pattern knits a wonderfully thick and warm slouch beret type hat that is both soft and lightweight. Instructions come complete with description of how to knit the beret point!
Things to know about this pattern:
Skill level: Advanced beginner. This hat requires extremely basic knitting skills. The only complicated factors relate to slipping and picking up stitches. There is also a three needle bind-off needed at the end.
Size: Fits to hat size 22"
Gauge: 16 stitches and 20 rows = 4 inches
Supplies Required:
Size 10 needles (9 inch circular or 16 inch circular) or one set Size 10 DPN
Size 10 cable needle
Size 9, 10 or 11 short needle or DPN to help in 3 needle bind off and final hat band bind off
2 skeins (100 grams each) Sport or Worsted Weight Yarn.
