Will Tate grew up in a small town in southern Virginia, reading science fiction, fantasy, and "non-fiction" about ESP, UFOs, cryptozoology and the like, convinced (or maybe just hoping) that the world outside was bigger, stranger, and more interesting than the one he knew. He was right. He lives in Oregon now, with the lovely and talented wife he had to travel cross-country and wait forty years to find. It was worth it. Now he writes for that long-ago kid in Virginia.
