Seven extraterrestrials have been born into human bodies, their true mission only hinted at in their dreams. Then, Ernie finds a crystal in an archaeological site, the key to who they are.

The message emanating from the crystal jerks Ernie from his comfort zone. He isn't being politely asked to volunteer for a mission - he's already been on this mission since before he was born as a human.
