The Walls We Build describes dysfunctional barriers that protect emotional well-being. This book is the result of having lived through the frightful and disheartening experience of rape as a young child. This book was written because of these experiences. It is the story of a young child having undergone the traumatic experience of rape while her inherent G-D given gift allowed her to block the infringement from her subconscious memory.
This child allowed this automatic built-in defense mechanism to take over and protect her mind, her free will and her emotions. She blocked this painful memory from her conscious mind, implanting it deep into the safety of her subconscious. It was not until thirty years later that she was set free as she was healed emotionally and spiritually.
Having experienced first hand the healing power within, she can now share this experience with others. It is our hope that others will be able to draw from the knowledge and truths contained within this book. This will allow them to recognize if they have built walls and are willing to permit the Spirit to break down those barriers that causes dysfunction within one's life. Once a wall has been torn down by the healing powers of Spirit, healthier marital relationships, healthier sexual relationships and healthier spiritual relationships will be possible.
