John Lightfoot has been away for four years working for the Government.He returns home to find that his world has been turned upside down. The daughter that he couldn't wait to see has been raped and murdered in a horrific manner. She has been raped and butchered like a wild animal and left in the desert.
The local authorities don't have a single clue to help them capture the killer. The reports that come from the police station say the killer is like a ghost, he leaves no trace behind. Lightfoot knows there will be a lot more young girls found in the desert if he doesn't find the madman and kill him.
With the help of a police detective he lures the killer into a final confrontation where only his own skills will keep him alive.
