The world has changed. . . Billy is a mercenary, a black-ops for hire, within the walls of the ravaged twenty-third century conurbation of Liverpool. Together with his team they are hired by a mysterious corporate operative for a simple job, retrieve a piece of corporate property, a scientist by the name of Demitri. As time runs out, Billy and his team must track him through the Merseyside underworld, rival gangs on the verge of war and into an installation on the Demon-infested Isle of Mann. Tragedy strikes during their escape attempt, and their very existence becomes a race against the alien environment that has now taken over the wilderness of England, and the corporation wishing for their stolen property back.
