Charles Worth's life has just been shaken to the foundation. His family and his home seem to be crumbling around him. His father has lost a long battle with cancer. His mother's grief has pushed her to alienate herself from the family with work. His little sister has sought comfort in the arms of a 'bad boy.' Only his little brother with Downs Syndrome seems to be handling the loss well. So Charles decides to take time off from college in order to deal with it all. This creates problems of its own, especially with his girlfriend of two years. While trying to step into his father's role he discovers that the life he knows may be a lie in more ways than one.
