A short contemporary romance novel. A sensual romance. After her horse throws her, and a bull escapes into the arnea, Candy Arnold begins to see the danger she is suddenly in, but doesn't know why.

A fast acting cowboy, named Joe Munroe comes to her air just in time.

Not long afterwards Candy inherits a broken down ranch in the Panhandle of Texas from her father. Since she has never really had a home, it sounds like heaven and she talks her Uncle into coming with her. Her ex-husband, the lawyer tells her she really ought to sell, but Candy wants to see the place for herself first.

Other things begin to happen when she gets to the ranch. Someone tries to kill her with a bullet, and then they steal her trailer.

Joe Munroe turns up as her neighbor and she suspects him right off. After all, he does want her land, doesn't he?

Joe is after something much more precious than her land though, he wants Candy, and he doesn't hesitate to let her know.
