Vincent Hunter vows to never return to the force, but when a serial killer everyone else thought was locked away resurfaces, he is compelled to come back. The new murders dredge up old memories and a past he'd rather stay buried.

Samantha Walker is content with her life as a beat cop but at Vincent's urging, she finds herself undercover as a dancer and on the tail of a serial killer. She will do anything to prove she's more than just a pretty face, even if it means squelching years of longing for Vincent.
