Short Row Garter Stitch Hat
Knit from side to side using shot row shaping, this hat is a great way to use up small amounts of leftover yarn! Simple short rows and the fact that you need only one set of needles make this project easy but interesting enough to knit on the go.

200 yards DK, sport, or light worsted weight yarn
Materials
-US #5/3.75mm needles (straight or circular), optional 16 inch circular for edging in same size
-Tapestry needle (one with a curved tip is best for grafting)
Gauge
5 stitches and 7 rows per inch in garter stitch
