On the one hand, inspired voluntarist conceptions: "quod principi placuit, legis habet vigorem", on the other hand, the rationalist conception that the law essentially is "ordinatio rationis". Through a careful reading of the biblical text it is possible to overcome any doctrinal dichotomy, to arrive at an organic conception of legislative control.
