This story is about an Amish man, Luke Yoder, and a once Amish woman Margaret Goodman. Follow the twists and turns in their lives while they make each other miserable. At the same time they try to carry out their Christmas Traditions for the little boy they both love. Levi threatens to make this Margaret's last visit to keep her away from his son Luke. A terrifying fire sets a girl's dress on fire at the school program, Margaret struggles to save a girl from an icy creek and a Yoder cow nearly kills Margaret. Forced to nurse Margaret, Levi rethinks his buried feelings for this woman he once loved.
