The socio-economic approach to management (SEAM) links together the social dimension of change and the economic dimension. The concept originated in France but has been tried out now in many other countries although the US is still not very familiar with it. Some of the articles in this e-book aim to present the socio-economic theory and its model of international dissemination and to position it in comparison with others (socio-technical approach, organizational development, post-modernism, sociology and anthropology of organizations). Other illustrate the way the method can be implemented in various contexts
