This unique, inspiring and colourful book tells the story of the individuals from Oceania who went that extra mile to compete, to become Olympians, despite the additional challenges of their circumstances. Fifteen Pacific island nations came together to train for London 2012. By joining together, singing in one voice, these far-flung Pacific nations have begun to make themselves heard, bringing the struggles of their athletes to the attention of the world. All proceeds from the sale of this book will help support athletes in Oceania via Oceania National Olympic Committees.
