Jig, a forsaken teen, has grown up in the underground tunnels of Old Seattle. As her seventeenth birthday approaches, her normally mundane existence suddenly becomes entangled in a series of strange occurrences.Jig discovers that she possesses magical powers that she has only heard of in fairytales. Her one hope in discovering the source of her powers, as well as the answers to her past, is the mysterious Angel, a boy from school who helps her reconnect with her lost lineage and find her way home to Mertopia.
