Surveys show that half the Internet users in America spend at least part of each day searching for information online. Search has become such an important part of people's lives that many can't imagine what life would be like without access to Google. Not all information found on the Internet is accurate or objective, though, meaning that Internet browsers must find ways to assess the quality of the information they find online.
