Much Ado about Nothing is set in Messina, Sicily where Don Pedro, an Italian prince and his two deputies, Claudio and Benedick are on their way home after success in battle. Leonato invites them to stay in Messina as his guests and throws a masked ball in their honour. The deputies are soon to be betrothed but the path to happiness is a tricky one involving infidelity and duplicity. This narrative version was written by Mary & Charles Lamb.
