This ebook consists of papers from the 16th IWOT conference that was arranged at NTNU in Trondheim, Norway in September 2012. The theme for the conference was to see team working in relation to the "Nordic model" especially connected to the Scandinavian and Dutch tradition of socio technical systems theory, industrial democracy together with the practice of lean production. Combined, the articles in this ebook provide interesting insights from a Nordic perspective, for researchers and practitioners interested in high performing autonomous teams across different sectors. Using different theoretical angles, the articles show the different aspects that are important for these teams to perform well.
