There is a question that lives underneath all the other questions of human life. It is quieter than the questions of daily survival, such as what we will eat, how we will pay the rent, whether the doctor's report will be good. It is quieter, but it is deeper. It surfaces at unexpected moments: in the silence of a hospital waiting room, in the empty hours after a funeral, on the night of a great achievement when the applause has died away and we sit alone wondering why the victory feels so small. It rises when we hold a newborn child, and it rises again when we bury an aged parent. It is the question, "Why am here?"

I have been the Pastor of Promised Land Ministries for 25 years and my vision is to make a positive impact upon the city of Detroit by creating a community-wide family center of faith in which all are welcome a place where all individuals and families can grow and flourish in their faith and discover God's plan for their lives. I am committed to making a positive impact upon our community by continuing to serve as a spirit driven Christian outreach center helping people experience the "perfect peace" that comes from faith in Jesus Christ and obedience to the Holy Spirit.
