This cartoon-based SANE Guide has been written specially for children (6-12-years-old) who have a parent or other person close to them with a mental illness. The Guide explains through a simple picture-story what mental illness is, how it is treated, and how to cope on a day-to-day basis. It is intended to provide information which helps children to understand and cope better with their situation.
