My Life & Bill is the memoirs of Madelaine Crouch taking you through her childhood memories, the wonderful times she shared with Bill from the moment she met him and the very lucky life they had together.

During Bill's fight with cancer the feelings Madelaine experienced ranged from anger, frustration, hurt and relief. Is it normal to feel relief when someone so close to you dies?

Bill was taken away from Madelaine and her family after a courageous fight against cancer in 2005.

No-one can tell you how to deal with life after losing such a special person but Madelaine hopes that sharing her experience will help others to deal with loss and similar situations.

Although she felt at the time of loss she may never cope, life does move on and things did get easier with time. Life has to change, priorities change, and she learnt that things would be different.
