Positive reviews from bloggers helped lift the book from obscurity. The book was featured on popular blogs such as Sparkling Reviews, Smart Girls Read and Fantasy Book Reviews, which helped boost online sales.By the end of 2011, My Blood Approves sold thousands of copies each day. The follow-up books in the series " Fate, Flutter, Wisdom, and Letters to Elise" were also bestsellers through the Kindle and Nook eBook libraries.
