From Grace to Grace is an original explanation of the call to holiness which is faithful to the Wesleyan-holiness tradition in a way that makes holiness relevant to this generation. There is general neglect of the call to holiness. Mark Quanstrom suggests that the figuring out the call to holiness is dependent on a renewed appreciation for the entire revelation of God. Following the book of Romans, Quanstrom suggests that the call to holiness must take into serious consideration: 1) the holy character of a loving God whose love means He hates sin and must destroy it; 2) the nature of sin which has infected all humankind; 3) the provision of God who Himself takes away the sin of the world through the cross; 4) the character of salvation as all grace; 5) the response of trusting faith to that perfect gift of salvation.
