"The Adventure of the Golden Pince-Nez" is a Sherlock Holmes short story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, included in The Return of Sherlock Holmes collection. It was first published in The Strand Magazine in the UK in July 1904 and in Collier's in the US in October 1904. The story follows Holmes and Inspector Stanley Hopkins as they investigate the mysterious murder of Willoughby Smith, secretary to the reclusive Professor Coram, with few apparent motives and cryptic last words.
