Emily Devonshire, and her seven-year-old daughter Robyn are kidnapped, separated and sold into the sex trafficking trade. After engineering a remarkable escape from captivity, Emily sets out on a five year pan-European odyssey to find her daughter whilst wreaking terrible vengeance upon all responsible for the vile trade that she discovers along the way.
Unbeknown to Emily, Robyn has already been plucked from danger and taken into care by an eccentric philanthropist and the trauma of her abduction, coupled with a head injury, have both induced amnesia, and released a previously dormant form of savant syndrome.
