When Marie Albertson left the Indiana State Library, she had a "rose-colored bucket list" of adventures she was eager to undertake. She achieved over 50 of her dreams and passes what she learned on to readers of this new book. Marie took lessons in sky-diving, kyaking, air-gliding, trapezing, swimming for the triathlon, and even pole dancing. She traveled on a budget to the Great Wall of China and to the pyramids of Egypt and the desert of Morocco. She read Shakespeare for the first time and got a facelift. Marie is a motivational speaker who urges seniors to follow some of the 200 tips she offers Hoosiers who want to get up and get out and make their senior years the most meaningful of their lives.
