The final book in the Mordiar Opus Trilogy finds Marin and Kutkhu dead, the Karai-Sin sending in reinforcements to deal with what they believe is the god Mordiar Morduk, and the leadership of the Nergal Demesne killed thanks to Mordiar and Tatiana. But that's just the beginnings of Mordiar's worries. Azlyn the Jag't'gar is becoming more and more paranoid and clingy. Kerria seems to think that she can single-handedly defeat the Karai-Sin, Tatiana is... well, a Druzsni, and the Karai-Sin Infinite Drives within their cloaked ships have the nasty habit of losing containment and turning entire systems into black holes. With his own sanity getting closer and closer to the edge, Mordiar must somehow manage to navigate the collapse of the Demesne, the power of the Karai-Sin, and the females who seem to all want him for their own purposes, which include having lots of children. He doesn't want any children. He just wants to get back to his ranch and Bob and the dogs. That's all. And when it's all over, will Mordiar bow down to the inevitable and admit to the fact that billions of inhabitants of the multi-verse see him as a god? Will he start a religion?
