The Mahabharat, is an ancient tale of yore,
An epic saga, forever for humanity to explore.
A tapestry of life, woven with divine threads,
Udyoga Parva from Sections 1 to 140 treads.

As the exile's term neared its final call,
Krishna went to Hastinapur, for peace to enthrall.
With Yudhishthira's plea, met Duryodhana face to face,
Requesting five villages, a gesture of peaceful pace.

Sanjay returned with tales of Pandav might,
Warning Duryodhana of war's impending blight.
Vidur counselled Dhritrashtra with wisdom to spare,
Yet Duryodhana chose war, with fate beyond repair.

Arjun's ultimatum shines like a beacon bright,
War looms near, a battle for justice and right.
Krishna exits the palace, untouched by pride,
Meals with Vidur, a heart with virtue inside.
