Meet a unique detective team - part human, part ghost!
Join Steph, Nora, Tasha, Inspector Farnsworth and Superintendent Hicks for their first three cases.
When new constable Steph is sent to mark time at the Bridewell, a Liverpool police station on the verge of closing, she sees it as the death of her career. Then she meets Nora, the hundred-year-old ghost of a police officer, who's determined to get a few more cases under her belt. Together, they investigate a macabre cold case which has haunted Nora for years.
The case is the least of Steph's problems, though: having a ghost colleague isn't easy. Nora's bossy, out of step with modern life, and has a habit of disappearing whenever her boss turns up. Can the pair learn to trust each other?
As the team's reputation grows, more cases come their way. However, Steph must reconcile her loyalty to Nora and their work with her feelings for a colleague who has no idea what goes on at the Bridewell.
The team must deal with opposition, threats, and worst of all, red tape. And as Steph and Tasha discover, ghosts have feelings too...
