The War of the Beaus

When Nathanial Tindell, a local businessman with a billion-dollar empire, is found murdered in a run-down apartment, everyone's asking the same questions: Why was he living under an assumed name? Why would a self-made billionaire quit it all and move to a sketchy part of town to be near his new neighbors, Rita MacKereth and her mom Georgia?

There are plenty of suspects—his cutthroat business rivals, an old man with his dog, and three of Rita's very interested admirers. Was it a war of the beaus?

As Odelia and Chase investigate, I'm along for the ride (of course!), with the help of Dooley, while Gran's cats, Harriet and Brutus, have their own side hustle—shooting ASMR videos. Unfortunately, things quickly go off the rails when they post embarrassing moments of friends, family, and neighbors online, creating chaos of their own.

Will we crack the case? Or will our feline friends end up in even hotter water than we are?
