Synopsis: The imbold to write the stories came out of the need for the world to know about who we are, what we do, and about our lives as caregivers. A different side of our life, one that is not always easy to talk about in the media, but rather cry and laugh about in the shower at the end of the day. I also promised my friend to take my heart in my teeth and do it, and I would like to keep that promise even though, this past spring, she got tired of waiting and passed on into the next dimension.

Autobiography: At the end of the year 2000, I landed in Chicago, coming from Eastern Europe with the dream of finding happiness. June of next year will mark an important milestone: 40 years as a practical nurse, full-time, eighty hours a week, give or take! Full-time mother to three boys, too, will be thirty-one years old this coming December. Two boys are in the military, and the youngest is stepping in my footsteps in the medical field. The idea of an empty nest is terrifying, so I think it's time to switch to a full-time writer position.
