From the ruins of the Archive, four cities claw their way into being — Crown, Spiral, Wall, and Laugh. Each one worships a shard of what came before, reshaping ghosts into tools of survival, symbols of devotion, or instruments of control. Sparks light homes and burn villages. Cami, Sofi, Val, and Bella — the Originals who once tore the Archive apart — are pulled back into the center of the storm. Haunted by their own doubles, hunted by militias, pursued by governments and black markets alike, the girls find themselves tested not only by the world's hunger but by the fragments of themselves they can't escape.

Together they must face the question no one else can answer:
Do they protect the fragile sparks of humanity being born out of ruin, or let it all burn before it grows into something worse?
