The Third installment of the Ghost Detective has Kenny and Partner in a small town hired by the Medville Murder Club to investigate who is sending threatening letters to it members one of them will be murdered. Partner our alien ghost from another planet, who helps Kenny solve murder mysteries. Except this time there is no murder to solve yet. Nor any motive to be discovered behind the letters, unless someone does not what the Medville Murder Club to solve one of its old cold murder cases. Partner can't be seen or heard by anyone except in Kenny's mind. Partner does all the leg work, except he has no legs, arms, just an oversized brain as large as a Volkswagen Bug. Kenny is always reminding Partner he has no legs or arms, and Partner is always reminding Kenny his brain is too small to be a detective. The comradery solves crimes despite the constant insults as to who's brains is better or bigger than a Volkswagen Bug.
