In my opinion, most of those held in mental hospitals are arbitrary. I can find no reason why a human being should be deprived of his liberty. They locked Sade in; They crammed Nietzsche, they crammed Baudelaire.
A method such as coming at night and taking you by surprise, putting a straitjacket on you, or in any other way restraining you, is no different from methods that rely on gently shoving a pistol into your pocket.
