Amanda Carter returns to her family home Whispers against her better judgement. She ran away at the age of seventeen, but a mysterious letter stating that she had better return to help her sister Tracy, made her put her fears behind her and return home once again. Once she arrives, she finds that terror still reins at Whispers with ghosts from the past and a sinister evil that still walks its halls. She must stay this time though because if she leaves, her sister Tracy and her unborn child may never survive the sinister foreboding that lurks in the house and the lake beyond.
