The Still Technique Manual, Second Edition, details the history of the rediscovery and redevelopment of one of the original osteopathic manipulative treatment methods that was historically termed Indirect then Direct treatment. The book includes an analysis of this unique manual medicine approach that was first discovered, taught, and used over 140 years ago by the founding father of osteopathic medicine, Dr. Andrew Taylor Still. The book also includes a multi-systems model of musculoskeletal restriction and somatic dysfunction. Finally, it has 11 chapters detailing applications of the technique to the whole body. It is being republished with some corrections and the inclusion of material that was added to the French and Italian translations but was not present in the original Second Edition.
