God reveals Himself through His Word, the Bible. You get to know who He is and how much He loves you. That encourages you to trust Him and follow His leading in your life. Through what He teaches you in His Word and trusting Him enough to follow that, you can live your life His way rather than the world's way. His Word lights your way to loving God and trusting Him more. In a real sense, His Word lights our way. Psalms are songs of the heart. They are poems, prayers, and praises directed to God from the heart of a believer. The writers expressed their gut-wrenching emotions to God and received a renewed heart and nourished love for God while in His presence. As a Christian, you can likewise go right to the presence of God and pour out your heart to Him in all circumstances. He can renew your mind with truth to guide your behavior and emotions.
