This is a collection of short stories set in West Virginia. The collection covers 100 years and focuses on a more sophisticated West Virginia. This is the author's first stab at writing short stories, and she writes about her time in Charleston (18 years) and her time in Huntington, West Virginia, as a student at Marshall University (four years). This is the author's eleventh book. She also writes true crime and poetry.
