Is there a personal spirit of Pentecost that we are supposed to receive individually as true followers of Christ in this world? As an authentic outpouring of the Holy Spirit?

As a gift and a tremendous spiritual endowment like the apostles received in the company of the Virgin Mary?

A Charisma of such magnitude, if we accept it in our lives through prayer, humility and sanctifying grace, may allow us to be transformed from followers to leaders, and healers, empowered by the Holy Spirit.

This new spirit of Pentecost will certainly encourage, convict, guide, and help us understand the things of God, often described as 'the scriptures coming alive', and a desire to tell others about the goodness of God.

For this, we will need true faith, repentance, dealing with our sins and a true desire to live a new way of life.

Our old way of life always follows the commands of our own personality, our personal ego and sense of self-importance, which always looks for personal and selfish benefits.

However, we have free will and we can, – no matter how difficult our personal circumstances might be - decide what course of action we take in our lives to achieve our life purposes.

This is because our spirit is an everlasting and unbreakable part of our being, and if we can establish a maintained connection with it to receive its energy, inspiration and directives, everything that we do will be transformed not only for our own good but for the good of all those that surround us.

And this leads to the Pentecostal experience, to the achievement of the Spirit of Pentecost for our lives once and for all.

To follow the originating impressions of our soul, our spirit, which by means of being connected indissolubly with the ultimate reality and the divine plan, will help our existence to develop in agreement with the will of our Father in Heaven.

To say it briefly, we came into this world either to do our own will, living the pipe dream of idolatry in which our world is still deeply immersed, or we came into this world to complement the will of our Father in Heaven actively, thus collaborating in the unfolding of its evolutionary plan.

The choice is ours.
