Desmond Orville cordially disliked his life. He'd managed to overcome severe addiction to unpleasant scenarios that gave nothing but abuse. He'd even relocated to another continent that would allow him some freedom of movement and control his own destiny, right?

Wow, he even had friends, his own residence, but it was his own, kay? A mode of transportation, and gigs that earned him good money. So, he should be on top of the moon? Well, for any youngster in his twenties that was the goal.

However, there was one passion Desmond hadn't been able to beat, and it was playing games, whether it was role playing, working with software that enhanced features of those games, or creating his own variations to make life interesting for bored kiddos with the latest tech gadgets who needed distracts.

Now that was life.

At least Desmond thought so until given a unique opportunity to live out one of his most longed for fantasies.
