Between the right to preserve oneself and the constant demand for exposure, a tension emerges at the heart of modern subjectivity. What remains of intimacy when everything becomes visible? What is lost when silence is mistaken for absence, and vulnerability is absorbed by the performance of emotion? This work develops a philosophical reflection on the exposed condition, questioning the ethical limits of visibility, the aestheticization of suffering, the erosion of secrecy, and the fading of interiority in an age of compulsive transparency. To inhabit exposure without dissolving the invisible is not a refusal of relation — it is an act of safeguarding what still resists the gaze.
