Italy's Public Comparative and European Law Association (DPCE) wanted to study the evolution of the presidential role during the eight years Barack Obama was in office. To do so, they organized a seminar with a group of Italian scholars to focus on different profiles of the Presidency as a governmental institution. This volume is the final product of the congress that took place in Milan at the end of October 2016, in collaboration with the Consulate General of the United States of America.
