Drawing on original qualitative research with Black and Brown mothers, this book introduces the SAWUBONA model – an Afro-centric, anti-racist and anti-oppressive practice framework that values indigenous knowledge, fosters cultural humility and centres empathetic, collaborative relationships between practitioners and service users.
