Book One Description - Men From The West

Rivertown was a small town of quiet mornings and friendly faces. People left doors unlocked. Children played in the streets. Jack Steele's world was simple and full of love - his wife Emily, his young brother Daniel, and the small life they built together. He never thought anything could change that.

Then the sky went dark.

A huge black mothership filled the sky. From it came strange ships and taller beings with cold eyes and deadly weapons. Commander Xylox led them. He had crushed other worlds. He saw humans as small things to be taken. In a single day, fire fell on Rivertown. The square burned. Homes were torn apart. Jack watched as Emily and Daniel vanished before him. The town he knew was gone.

Jack's grief became a hard thing inside him. He could run and hide. Or he could stand and fight.

Men From The West follows Jack from loss to action. He gathers the few survivors left. They are farmers, shopkeepers, and old soldiers. Together they learn to use strange alien weapons and old tools. They set traps. They make plans. Every small victory costs them dearly. Friends die. The enemy keeps coming.

The book is full of fast, raw action. It has quiet, heavy moments of loss. It shows how ordinary people change into fighters. Jack fights not just to avenge his family, but to save what is left of humanity.

The Allines are powerful. Their ships blot out the sun. Their soldiers are twice the size of men. Commander Xylox watches from above and thinks Earth is easy to take. He is wrong.

This is the start of a war. It is the first stand of ordinary people who choose to protect their homes. It is a story about courage born from grief, about hope lit in dark times, and about how small people can become a force no enemy expects.

The invasion has begun. Jack Steele will learn the cost of war. He will learn what it means to lead. And he will learn how far people will go to keep their world alive.
