Chapter One: Meeting New Friends

Oscar was busy building a big sandcastle on the beach, the sun shining down on him as he carefully crafted the towers and moat. Just as he was adding the final touches, he heard a loud barking sound and turned to see a happy dog with a cute face and a wagging tail running towards him.

"Hi there, my name is Nero!" the dog exclaimed, his tail wagging wildly as he dropped a squeaky beach ball at Oscar's feet. "Want to play with me?"

Oscar couldn't help but laugh at the dog's silly antics. "I'd love to!" he said, picking up the beach ball and tossing it in the air. Nero leapt up to catch it, his ears flapping in the wind, and Oscar couldn't help but giggle at the sight.
