The sun was shining brightly in the little village by the sea, casting a warm glow over the thatched roofs and the bustling harbor. Oscar, the fox,a combination of intelligence ,cunning and curiosity,was sitting on the beach, his eyes fixed on the horizon. Suddenly, he perked up, his ears twitching with excitement. "Guys, I think I heard something!" he exclaimed, jumping to his feet. He rushed to find his best friends, Colin and Olyn, who were playing in the nearby tidal pools. Colin, a silly,shy and curious rabbit, looked up from the anemones he was examining. "What is it, Oscar?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with curiosity. "I heard a cry for help coming from the ocean," Oscar said, "I think we should go and check it out." Colin's eyes widened with excitement. "Do you think it's a mermaid?"
