This is a true story of how a young woman faced the abandonment of her husband, who left her with two small children while she was pregnant with her third child. After her baby was born, she attended school to become a vocational nurse. Finding a well-paying job brought her a newfound sense of self-respect. Before long, she was off welfare, with more money and pride than she had ever known before.
